Miami, located on the Atlantic coast in Florida,has a population of 399,457. It is an important center in finance, commerce, culture, media, entertainment, the arts. It was also ranked as one of the richest city in the world.

The  Port of Miami, the "Cruise Capital of the World" is the number one cruise passenger port in the world. This city has many entertainment venues, theaters, museums, parks and performing arts centers, which host many large scale operas, ballets, concerts, and musicals from around the world.

Miami is also a major fashion center, attracting the best models and some of the top modeling agencies in the world.  It is also the stage for fashion shows and events, such as the  annual Miami Fashion Week and the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Miami .

The  weather is temperate, therefore the  beaches will be active all year round, but the water will usually be too cold to swim in the winter.
