It was around 18 BC that the history of Seoul began, when it was made the capital of Baekje Kingdom.  This city became an imperative part of the region in when it came under the Josean Dynasty.  In the year 1910, Japan invaded city of Seoul and after it they ruled the place for about thirty five years. Seoul managed to get itself released from the Japanese dominance in the year 1948. At present, Seoul is one of the contemporary and technologically advanced cities that is well known for its skyscrapers, huge traffic and a population of 10.3 million.
