Larnaca is one of the 6 districts of the Republic of Cyprus. Larnaca was set up during Mycenaean age and afterwards became major settlement for Phoenician rulers and then it achieved its true position during Hellenistic age. By the thirteenth century, under the rule of Mycenaean Greeks, it became an important port and vender of Copper.
