ALMATY

Almaty is the biggest city of Kazakhstan accommodating 1,348,500 residents which is nine percent population of the country. From the year 1929 to 1998, it had been Kazakhstan''s capital. Even after losing its position as capital, Amaty still is the major economic hub of Kazakhstan.
