sightseeing and exploring. Stroll around Vila Nova Conceiçao, one of the most

crossing from Av. Faria Lima and Av. Juscelino Kubitschek is a good place to

annual Carnival, a national bank holiday, and get tickets to the parade in the
Sambodromo. You will see dancers dressed up in costumes and musicians play

the "pista" (close to the parade), you will have view of the parade..

even join the parade at the time of Carnival holidays by buying the costume
from a samba school and getting in touch with the people organising the event
in one of the schools.
