Rome

For several years, tourists and merchants have visited this amazing town built on 57 hills along the banks of river Tiber. With the passage of time, Rome turned into completely a Christian metropolis and Pope became very powerful, making grounds for the Holy Roman Empire by 800 AD. During World War II when Italy was given freedom by Allies, a referendum held in the year of 1946 sectioned the end of monarchy and the beginning of republic.
