Lviv which is sometimes also known as Lvov is one of the largest cities in Western Ukraine, established as a fort in the mid of thirteenth century by Danilo Glatisky, Prince of Galicia.
Positioned in the mid-point of Europe, Lvov was the hub of commerce and trade in prehistoric time. Some major trade roads from Black & Baltic Seaports, Western and East Europe lead to fast economic development. Because of its geographical location, the place is a meeting point of Austrian, Jewish, Polish and Ukranian cultures.
