LONDON

The history of London can be tied to the Roman invasion in 43 AD. Before the Romans invaded the place, it had no permanent settlements.  Within a short period of time, the Romans started to rebuild the city. After they left the city, London started experiencing a kind of decline that can be depicted in the way that the population of the city diminished radically and most of the areas were in poor conditions.  It was in the seventh century that the city experienced a growth in the trade and commerce again.  In 604 AD, the first St.Paul''s Cathedral was founded in London, where the current St. Paul resides now. In the year 1904, the very first motor bus service came to the city which was followed by the introduction of an underground electric train.

London is a global city, one of the world’s largest financial centers and has the fifth-largest GDP in the world (and the largest in Europe). It is city with a great influence in education, research and development, entertainment, tourism, transport, fashion, finance.
