Kualalumpur is the largest city of Malaysia that has its origin from the year 1850 when Malay Chief sent the Chinese upriver for opening larger and new tin mines. British resident called Selangor is one person who is completely instrumental in the development of Kualalumpur.  Despite of the two World Wars, Kualalumpur city has continued to grow.  It was in the year 1974 that Kualalumpur city was made the Federal Territory.

Kualalumpur city has a very rich and vibrant culture that is made up of a mixture of various communities that have settled here. Some of the things that make up the culture of Kualalumpur include music, theater, dance, orchestras, films, cultural events and much more.
