It was in the year 1623, that the Vietnamese Refugees settled in Hochiminncity after seeking the permission of Cambodian King. In the year 1975, the Vietnam War ended and the Hochiminncity came under the jurisdiction of Vietnam People Army. City has got its name from the name of a communist leader Ho Chi Minh. At present, Hochiminncity has a lot of things to boast about such as classy thoroughfares, regal buildings, primordial pagodas and museums.
