Auckland

Auckland, apart from being the major commercial and retail hub of ''New Zealand'', is also worldwide known as a fantastic doorway to the country for immigration and tourism. It is set up on a contracted cape between 2 harbors and is bordered by picturesque islands and extinct volcanoes. Auckland was desired by several rulers and fought over due to its richness including its productive volcanoes, forested hills and docks full of delicious seafood.  Maoris were the first to settle in the city but in later years, immigrants from Pacific Islands also contributed a lot in the population.

In the year 1840, after buying around three thousand acres land from Ngati Whatua, the city came into view as British colony settlement and first governor namely Lieutenant William Hobson selected the city as capital of ''New Zealand''. What primarily fascinated at that time were magnificent Manukau and Waitemata harbors and immediacy to both rive and fertile land access in south as well as north.
